CRI-KET
- Name/Nickname: CRI-KET
- Age: Body- several hundred years. Soul- several hours
- Gender: None. Male pronouns are fine.
- Species: CRI-KET UNIT
- Abilities/ Strengths: Computer brain, robot strength, expert combatant, sword
- Physical Weaknesses: Dying battery, unbalanced body, missing two of four limbs. Missing limbs are from the same side of the body, leaving two arms on one side. One arm is a gun, but has no ammunition. Heavy.
- Height/Weight: 7ft (top of head) - 7ft 10in (top of horns)
- Personality: Following programming to start. War machine robot with PTSD triggered by war-like sounds and actions. Contains a soul keeping it running. Learning to have friends and feel emotions.
- Backstory: CRI-KET units were deployed en-masse in a war long ago. After serving their purpose they were dumped into a large pit where they rusted and fell apart. Upon the world falling apart, enough soul energy coalesced by some godlike entity has gathered inside the most functional husk of a CRI-KET to make their way to the promised land so the souls inside can be at rest.
- Other: Contains tons of soul energy it is transporting to promised land. May be triggered to violent robotic action by PTSD like episodes activated by war-reminiscent scenarios or a target that fits programming termination criteria. Cannot talk, only make chirps and whirs and other robotic noises. Gun arm may be out of ammo, but if ammo might be found somewhere, it can reload the gun for a short period of time. This is rare to happen, and would last half of a fight at most, as the gun fires rapidly and CRI-KET is not equipped with any sort of feed that holds enough ammo for long periods of sustained fire.
Dying battery: Even though the robot is being pushed forwards by soul energy, it still needs some mechanical aspects to run on electricity which it is quickly running out of. It will need to siphon some from other sources or find spare batteries as it goes, which are likely to be extremely rare or in the possession of other contestants. This can also cause CRI-KET to become more desperate, as if a fight extends for too long, the extended intensive activity can wear down his energy usage quickly, causing him to shut down mid fight if it goes on too long.
Unbalanced Body / Missing Limb / Gun Arm:CRI-KET units are normally outfitted with four arms, two gun arms and two normal arms, one of each on each side. This CRI-KET is missing both arms from it’s right side, so it is unbalanced. The gun arm is lacking ammo or any type of feed to hold large amounts of ammo, so it is essentially useless aside from being used as a bludgeon. This means the CRI-KET has essentially one functional appendage aside from it’s legs, which although usable as hands, are usually planted firmly on the ground as to retain as much balance as possible.
Computer Brain / Expert Combatant: As the CRI-KET has computers behind it’s eyes, it can calculate and analyze situations to a greater degree than the average human. This means it can discern structural instabilities impossible to spot by the naked eye, or other invisible information such as temperature or calculating possible routes and probability of success. This is slightly hindered by the fact that it also has a soul and along with that, human thought and feeling.
Robot Strength: Being a robot, the CRI-KET is extremely strong in it’s arms and legs, allowing it to move heavy objects. It also allows it to strike with greater force, but this also means that it may cause unwanted damage to the environment.
Sword: Since the CRI-KET has run out of ammunition, it has taken up a tempered blade of cold steel to weld against it’s foes. A simple great sword wielded by the CRI-KET’s strong robotic arm. It is somewhat adept in using this weapon, but not used to such a thing that is not a gun.
Robotic Body:CRI-KET is made of metal, meaning it conducts heat and electricity very well. It also means he is durable, but he is also rusted in places and not made from the strongest metal in the world. He can still be damaged, be it either through enough force, sustained attack, attacking vitals, etc. He may look invincible, but he is far from it. He is a broken robot kept from falling apart by souls. He will break again, it's only a matter of time. Most people should be able to damage him properly as long as they are not exceptionally average, such as a normal human male trying to punch a robot.
